Accommodation description
Sal y Mar is a complex of 10 bungalows situated around a nice communal pool which also has a smaller sized pool for children. All the bungalows are two bedroomed and suit couples, families and single people. All of our bedrooms have either double or twin beds, a bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet. Your bungalow you will also have a front patio and a mini solana with washing machine (long terms).
The kitchen is equipped with a toaster, kettle, coffee making machine, a large fridge/freezer, hob and other utensils. The lounge has a good sized coffee table, nice sofa and chairs and a television with a variety of different channels. .
There will be a cleaner who will clean your bungalow 4 days out of 7 and will also change the towels 3 times in a week and linen once a week.
The outside of the pool has decorative tiling and all patios are south facing. Sun loungers are also available for all clients if they fancy a nice relaxing day by the pool and there is play area for children. Not only is the complex close to the seafront, it offers a variety of different restaurants and bars that are within close proximity.
The complex is Spanish owned and all bookings are made through them .
There are good parking facilities near the complex so if you do decide to hire a car then this wouldn't be a problem. It is important for us to provide you with high standards of accommodation and to also ensure that your stay with us is enjoyable so you come back and visit us again.

About Matagorda, Lanzarote
Located within a 5-minute drive of Arrecife airport, Matagorda is considered the tasteful extension to Puerto del Carmen and offers the best of all worlds: It's surroundings give you a quieter holiday, with the more lively resort of Puerto del Carmen only a short drive away when required.
The resort area of Matagorda is a mile or so along the coastal road from Puerto del Carmen and is dominated by the sandy beach bearing the same name. There is a good selection of shops and restaurants to choose from, the commercial centre has plenty of places to eat, offering everything from pizza to paella.
Matagorda rentals are available with a good selection of villas and apartments to choose from.

Owner's Tips...
The complex is across the road from Matagorda shopping centre where there are a variety of different bars and restaurants as well as 2 main supermarkets. Furthermore there are many sports + leisure activities closeby including surfing, diving, tennis, squash etc.
Across the road from the complex is Matagorda Shopping Centre where there are a selection of small shops as well as hair and beauty salons for any relaxing treatments.
We can also arrange any day trips or excursions as well as car hire. Day trips and excursions can be arranged on arrival and we can also arrange car hire prior to departure.

“Enjoyed 2 week stay during July 2010. Bungalows are well maintained and location is excellent with the Commercial Centre right next to it with the beach a stones throw away. The pool is small but more than adequate and cleaned daily. One area that must be improved on is the lack of sunbeds.
Most days the total No available around the pool was probably seven which i thought was ridiculous, what was also annoying was that 2 or 3 of the guests had decided to place a sunbed outside their bungalow were the table & chairs are situated - that i find quite unacceptable & totally selfish. Enjoyed Matagorda, really nice.”

“Have stayed in Matagorda for the lat 10 years sometimes coming twice a yer and this is the nicest accommodation we stayed in. Only 10 bungalows so you get to know your neighbours, people look in at you walking by as no wall or trees but you get used to it. Right beside the shopping centre etc. These bungalows only suitable for couples or people with very young children as they would be bored, better off going to a bigger complex. Would deffo go back.”
